Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MonteTeam (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ReDo application for Jira Cloud (“the App”).

1. Information We Access

The App reads the following Jira issue fields to evaluate Definition of Ready and Definition of Done criteria:

• Summary, Description, Status, Priority, Issue Type
• Assignee, Reporter
• Labels, Components, Fix Versions, Linked Issues
• Story Points, Time Estimates
• Subtasks, Resolution, Comments

This data is accessed read-only for the sole purpose of evaluating quality criteria. The App does not modify issue content except for writing to its own managed custom fields (DoR Score, DoR Status, DoD Score, DoD Status).

2. Information We Store

The App stores the following data in Atlassian Forge Key-Value Store (KVS):

• Configuration: Enabled rules, custom criteria definitions, app mode (DoR/DoD/both) per project
• Manual check states: Which manual criteria checkboxes have been checked per issue

All stored data resides entirely on Atlassian Cloud infrastructure. We do not operate any external servers or databases.

3. Data Processing Location

ReDo is a “Runs on Atlassian” Forge application. All data processing occurs within Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure. No data is transmitted to external servers, third-party services, or MonteTeam-owned infrastructure.

4. Personal Data

The App does not collect, store, or process personal data beyond what is already present in Jira issue fields (such as assignee names). We do not:

• Track individual user behavior or analytics
• Store user credentials or authentication tokens
• Export personal data outside of Atlassian Cloud
• Share data with third parties

5. GDPR Compliance

The App is designed with GDPR compliance in mind:

• Data minimization: We access only the Jira fields necessary for criteria evaluation
• Right to erasure: All App data is automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled from a Jira site
• Right to rectification: Configuration can be modified at any time through the App settings
• No data export: Data never leaves Atlassian infrastructure

6. Data Retention

App data (configuration and manual check states) is retained as long as the App is installed. When the App is uninstalled, all data stored in Atlassian Forge KVS is automatically deleted by the Atlassian platform.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Atlassian Marketplace listing or within the App.
